What types of information does widget.live collect?
The Shopify API is used (with permission and acceptance from Shopify Shop owners) to collect only relevant Shopify data of the Shopify Shop owners. Email is the only personally identifiable piece of information collected about store owners. This information is only kept as long as necessary, and is deleted on a regular basis. No sensitive information, such as credit card information, SIN, bank account information, or otherwise is collected by the apps. The widget.live app does not collect payment information from the Shopify Shop owner, but instead uses the Shopify Payments API in order to allow Shopify to bill the Shop Owner, and collects a commission from Shopify on a biweekly basis.
How is the information collected through widget.live app?

Cookies may be used in order to save user preference settings. These cookies do not impact or effect the customers of the Shopify Shop owners in any way. Cookies may be cleared from the user’s browser at any time.
How long do you retain the information you collect?
We generally store Shopify Shop owner information (e.g., shop name, contact email, other statistics for 3 years.
We generally store Shopify Customer data (provided by Shopify Shop owners) for up to 1 year, however this data may be deleted from our servers and databases by the Shopify Shop owners at any time. To delete the customer data belonging to a Shopify Shop Owner, she must uninstall our app. This will also trigger an eventual deletion of all the customer data that we have in our database, and resets the statistics.
What are your security procedures?
The security of the information collected through our technology is important to us. Information collected by the widget.live app system is stored in databases that are maintained in a secure data centre in Toronto (Canada). Both physical and Internet access are strictly protected and limited. Access is granted only to those with authorization. No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect the information we collect, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
What is your refund policy?
You can uninstall the app at any time and payments will be cancelled. As the apps have a free trial period, we cannot offer refunds at this time.
How can I opt-out?
As a Shopify Shop owner, you may uninstall the app at any time. This restricts the app from using the Shopify API on behalf of your store, which it only does when you request it to, in a very transparent way.
As a customer of a Shopify Shop owner, you may request that the shop follow the above procedure in order to delete your information from our servers.
For Shopify Shop owners who receive an individual removal request, an email may be sent to matt dot loszak at gmail dot com, requesting that an individual row be deleted from the database. This will prevent the Shopify Shop owner from needing to delete ALL their customer data from the widget.live app, through any provided options.
